Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, has debunked media reports that terrorists attacked his hometown, Hong, describing the reports as a figment of the authors’ imagination.

Fielding questions from journalists in Hong, yesterday, the SGF said the reports were designed to discredit the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari on the fight against insecurity.

“The reporter, out of mischief, fabricated the report to ruin the integrity of the government. Why is he specific about SGF’s village? I was in the village attending weddings and I visited more than three different villages on the day the reporter claimed there was attack in the area,” he stated.

Mustapha disclosed that the Buhari government introduced new tactics in dealing with insurgency and that positive results were being achieved.

He urged patriotic Nigerians to team up with the administration to ensure that the nation’s glory is restored before the end of the Buhari government.
