Bozimo seeks peace, reconciliation over aborted INC election

Former Minister of Police Affairs, Broderick Bozimo, has called for calm, peace and reconciliation sequel to violence that marred the convention of the Ijaw National Congress (INC) in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

Bozimo, a presidential candidate in the botched election, who spoke yesterday at a press conference, urged all the aggrieved candidates to forge a common front for the unity of the Ijaw nation.

The elder statesman, who appealed to all contestants to sheathe their swords and join hands in building a new and vibrant INC, said he was in the race because of the insecurity and instability in the country.
