A British Member of Parliament (MP), Sarah Champion, during her trip to Nigeria, paid a courtesy visit to the Women in Management and Business (WIMBIZ) office to hear about the work the latter is doing and to explore opportunities for connecting women entrepreneurs in both countries.

Champion is the Shadow Secretary of State for Women and Equalities. Also present at the meeting were representatives from the British Council; Connie Price; Country Director, Ojoma Ochai;Director of Arts West Africa, Emma Skelton, Policy and External Relations Officer, WIMBIZ Trustee Morin Desalu and Executive Council members Bunmi Aboderin-Talabi, Chizor Malize and Bimbola Wright.
