President Bola Ahmed Tinubu support groups

The Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, represented by Asiwaju Olumuyiwa Asagunla, on Monday presented 18-seater buses to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu support groups in Ondo State, as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and enhance the operational capacity of organisations championing the Renewed Hope Agenda across the state.

The buses were handed over to two leading support groups actively promoting the achievements of the President and consolidating support for his continued leadership beyond 2027: the Asiwaju Mandate Group (AMG) and the Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (GMT).

Speaking at the presentation, Dr. Tunji-Ojo said the gesture was aimed at encouraging the groups to sustain mobilisation efforts, deepen grassroots engagement, and educate the public on the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration. He commended the groups’ dedication, describing their work as critical to strengthening public participation in governance and ensuring the Renewed Hope Agenda reaches every community.

Receiving the bus on behalf of AMG was the Director of Strategy and Communications, Dr. Ayodeji Ologun, flanked by members of the executive council. GMT’s bus was received by its Director-General, Hon. Saka Yusuf, alongside Secretary Alhaji Yussuff Badmus and other executives.

Both leaders expressed gratitude to the Minister, noting that the buses would significantly boost their capacity to reach communities, organise grassroots engagements, and further promote President Tinubu’s vision and achievements across Ondo State.

Also present at the event was Engr. Ade Adetimehin, who prayed for the safe and productive use of the vehicles. He commended the Minister for strengthening the progressive family in the state and urged beneficiary groups to maximise the buses in advancing party ideals and the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The presentation was attended by party leaders, members of the support groups, and other stakeholders, who described the initiative as a clear demonstration of growing support for President Tinubu’s administration in Ondo State.
