Buhari condoles with Ilorin monarch over mom’s death
President Muhammadu Buhari has sympathised with the Ilorin Emirate Council its emir, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, over the death of his mother, Alhaja Aishat Nma Sulukarnaini Gambari.
In a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the president also commiserated with the family and Kwara State government, just as he described the deceased as loving and kind to even the poor and the underprivileged.
Buhari said the matriarch of the Gambari’s royal dynasty would be fondly remembered for her godliness, humility, generosity, wise counsel and warmth to all.
The president urged the family to find solace in Allah and take pride in the legacies of the emir’s mother, who was born into a life of privileges and opportunities but consistently remained relevant to her community and nation in rendering services to humanity.
