Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared the winner of 19 out of 20 Local government areas in Bauchi state.

Buhari polled 746,965 votes in 19 local government areas of the state to beat his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 203,457 votes.

However, results were inconclusive in four polling units at Katagum local government. This led to the cancellation of votes from the local government.
