Adegbuyi is new Postmaster-General of NIPOST
President Muhammadu Buhari has constituted the board of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).Special Adviser, Media/Chief of Staff to former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu, Sunday Dare, and former Senator Ifeanyi Ararume are some of the key figures on the list announced in Abuja yesterday by the Presidency.

Special Adviser to the President (Media and Publicity), Femi Adesina, said in a statement that a letter to the Senate requesting it to confirm the nominations was sent out yesterday.

Adesina said: “In a letter dated August 2, 2016, sent to President of the Senate, Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Senator Olabiyi Durojaiye (South-West) was nominated as Chairman, while Mr. Sunday Dare (South-West) got the nod as executive commissioner, stakeholders management.

Those nominated as non-executive commissioners are Aliyu Sa’idu Abubakar (North-East), Clement Omeiza Baiye (North-Central), Chief Okoi Ofem Obono Obla (South-South), Pastor Ezekiel Yissa (North-Central) and Senator Ifeanyi Ararume (South-East).”

Meanwhile, the President has approved the appointment of Bisi Adegbuyi as Postmaster-General/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Postal Services (NIPOST).A statement issued yesterday from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF) and signed by the Director, Press and Public Relations, Bolaji Adebiyi, confirmed the appointment.
