Buhari warns cadets against unguarded association, statements

President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday, warned newly commissioned Air force cadets to know their limits in terms of association and expression and not be tools in the hands of disgruntled elements to compromise national security or engage in act capable of denting the image of Nigerian Air Force (NAF).

Speaking at the commissioning of 62 pilot officers and second lieutenants of Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) 65 Regular Course, Buhari, represented by Chief of Air Staff (CoAS), Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar, stated that for the first time in recent past, NAF regular cadets in their final year were given basic specialist training.

According to him, the addition of the 62 cadets into NAF would further strengthen personnel need of the force in its responsibility of protecting Nigeria’s territorial integrity.
