Buhari’s wife reassures on return of other Chibok girls
Smarting from the freedom of Amina Ali, one of the over 200 abducted school girls from Sambisa forest, the wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, has expressed optimism that with government’s renewed determination, other Chibok girls being currently held by the Boko Haram insurgent group would be rescued
A statement by her media aide, Zakari Ya’u Nadabo last night, quoted the President’s wife as stating this when she received Amina along with her four-month-old baby, Safiya in company of her mother at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
“The freedom of Amina further reinforced our hope and conviction that God will make the effort of Mr. President a success in the complete recovery of the abductees, “ she said.
Mrs. Buhari, in an emotion-laden tone, appealed to all those in the forest to make themselves available for reintegration into the society.
“I am appealing to all of you there to show up because we love you, “ she pleaded.
