CBN plans to support Ogun farmers on anchor borrowers’ programme

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has promised to give more support to farmers in Ogun State in its Anchor Borrowers Programme.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has promised to give more support to farmers in Ogun State in its Anchor Borrowers Programme.

The CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele, gave the promise, yesterday, when Governor Dapo Abiodun, led the leadership of Ogun Famers and Commodity Association to the headquarters of the apex bank in Abuja.

Abiodun, who appreciated the bank for giving support to the nominees, said the meeting was also to deliberate on how to include more beneficiaries that are eager to also benefit from the agricultural linkage opportunity.

He said that the administration would continue to give agriculture a priority to make the state food basket of the country.
