CIArb moves to advance arbitration
The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Nigeria Branch (CIArb) has sought ways to identify challenges and proffer solutions to the advancement of arbitration in Africa.
The institution would focus on how standards, quality of services and support infrastructure would enhance its development.
Speaking at a conference held in Lagos, the chairman, Nigerian branch CIArb, Olatunde Busari, noted that its annual conference, which would be held on November 7 and 8 in Lagos, would showcase the country to the world as a friendly Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and arbitration destination.
The conference themed ‘Positioning Africa: The Changing Landscape in Alternative Dispute Resolution’, would focus on training and knowledge sharing on contemporary issues.
