 
The Ijaw National Alliance of the Americas (INAA) has described the Late Chief Edwin Clark as a trailblazer for the Niger Delta people and a source of inspiration whose legacy will continue to guide future generations.
INAA General Secretary, Dr. John Tebepah who made this observation on Monday in Abuja noted that the late elder states man was known for his unwavering commitment to justice and environmental advocacy, adding that he played a pivotal role in championing the rights of the Niger Delta communities.

Tebepah expressed the body’s condolences to the late Clark’s family and the Ijaw Nation, recalling that his leadership earned him recognition, including INAA’s prestigious “Service and Devotion Award” in 2004.
“Chief Clark’s contributions to Nigeria’s political landscape and his advocacy for resource control and environmental justice remain a lasting testament to his dedication to the Ijaw cause.
“The Ijaw National Alliance of the Americas (INAA) hereby express our deepest condolences to the Bekederemo Family of Kiagbodo and the entire Ijaw Nation for the passing of leader, Chief (Dr.) E. K. Clark. We are heartbroken by this profound loss and share in your grief during this incredibly difficult time.
“Chief E. K. Clark was a front runner for the people of the Niger Delta and inspired many through his leadership. He was a true source of knowledge and guidance. His legacy will continue to inspire and guide us as we mourn our loss.
