Cleric charges Christians to pray for Nigeria throughout September

As Nigerians prepare to celebrate the country’s 60th Independence Day anniversary slated for October 1, a cleric, Apostle Obi Pax Harry has advised Christians to pray round the clock throughout September for the peace and progress of the nation.

According to her, the prayer became necessary following a divine instruction to gather 720 Nigerian Christians to pray throughout the month for the country ahead of the nation’s anniversary celebration.

Harry shared the vision tagged Arise: Project 720, with other Intercessors under the banner of Watchmen and Intercessors Network Nigeria (WINN).

The convener of WINN, stressed that the instruction for Project 720 was clear and specific, as God directed her to gather 720 ordinary believers, organise them into 24 teams with each team assigned a specific hour of the day to pray every day through September with Mathew 7:20 which says, ‘wherefore by their fruits, ye shall know them’, to serve as anchor scripture for the exercise.

“The aim of the prayers is to birth 720 Oaks of Righteousness who will be transformational leaders in their sphere of influence. People who will restore our value system as a nation and be good role models to others,” she said.

Head, admin team, Arise Nigeria Project 720, Mrs. Yemisi Subair, said the response has been positively overwhelming. “Nigerians from all over the world have joined and so have believers of other nationalities,” she said.

She called for more Christians to join so that they could replicate the 720 prayer warriors and through these bring to the consciousness of all, the power of God.

Subair urged interested participants to visit the WINN facebook page for details on how to register.
