Cleric seeks prayers to overcome insecurity, stagnation
The General Overseer of Christian Youth Evangelistic Ministry, Prophet Kehinde Ola, has charged Nigerians to put the insecurity and other challenges confronting the nation in prayer.
He maintained that supplication remained the most potent weapon to overcome the problems.
The cleric, who spoke in Ado-Ekiti, flayed fellow Christian leaders for allegedly failing to speak truth to power.
He urged the Federal Government to review the closure of the nation’s land borders, claiming that the move was counter-productive, as according to him, contrabands still find their way into the country.
The prophet sought total deliverance of the nation by ‘true men of God’, just as he urged the government to be more serious with the security issues in the polity.
He equally advised Governor Kayode Fayemi to go beyond payment of salaries by putting in place those things that would add value and raise the standard of living of the people.
