Cleric to Buhari, others: Posterity will judge you if you fail to perform
The General Evangelist, Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) worldwide, Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji has called on President Muhammadu Buhari and other elected political office holders to always think of what posterity would say about them at the end of their tenure, as their basis for performance.
Oladeji, who expressed concern over the level of poverty in the country, urged political leaders to see their election as a call to serve, noting that posterity has a way of rewarding people according to their deeds. He expressed deep concern about the level of insecurity in the country, saying all hands must be on the deck to confront the challenge.
Oladeji, who lamented that kidnappers have virtually overrun the Southwestern part of the country, urged Governors in the region to get youths and traditional rulers involved in the war against criminals.
Speaking at the Mountain of Mercy Erio-Ekiti, preparatory to the takeoff of the Annual Power Explosion Crusade, the cleric said youths must secure their tomorrow by shunning all acts of crime and criminality.
He warned youths to always remember the Law of Retribution whenever they want to indulge in crime, as acts of evil done to an innocent citizen would always have a repercussion on the culprits sooner or later.
