CMSL activates Beamer Bank’s vision for sustainable future

Poised to deliver efficient and sustainable banking systems while building smarter homes and strong community bonds, Beamer Bank, a microfinance institution has launched an all-out campaign to sensitise Lagosians, and Nigerians at large, on several commendable benefits including maximizing their advanced technology that significantly reduces transaction time.

In April 2026, Beamer Bank, engaged Contact Marketing Services Limited, CMSL, to intensify their push into Nigeria’s SME communities with a 3-day market activation within the Ikorodu axis of Lagos, designed to strengthen market share and brand awareness

The activation focused on traders within the Sabo market, and ran across Gate 1, Gate 2 and Gate 3, featuring music, games and Beamer trivia.

The activation is considered timely, considering the ease of access to funds and swift response time Beamer Bank offers account holders among others.

Speaking about the activation, Sylvia-Mary Chimezie, a renowned direct marketing expert with CMSL, stated that the market activation initiative was engaged to create an atmosphere where customers can conveniently relate with the Beamer Bank brand.

“As a supervisor of the Beamer team during the market activation, I served as a liason officer between the clients, Beamer micro finance bank, Contact Marketing Services Limited, the Direct Selling Agents (DSAs), and GODSPOWERPROJECT

‘I ensure that the DSAs work in line with the route plan, also ensuring all DSAs compulsorily observe their break, a review of activities and re-strategize where necessary. He stated.

At the end of the 3 -days marketing activation, it’s obvious that it was successful because almost 90 contacts opened and funded their accounts, and about 60 indicated interest although they hadn’t funded their accounts, while others now have the product knowledge”.

Amidst all the fun fair and excitement, the Ikorodu market activation was able to reveal that the Beamer brand was changed from Gabsyn, a fact which is not public knowledge.

On his part, Managing Director of Beamer Bank, Olatunji Olayinka, outlined their corporate commitment to include “prudent growth strategies, diversification into sustainability, transparency in reporting strategic capital allocation and growth opportunities.”
