Commission to distribute starter packs to 5,000 trainees

The National Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (N-HYPPADEC) is to flag off the distribution of starter packs to graduates of its Youth Transformation Programme (YTP). 
 
A statement in Minna by Head, Press and Public Affairs, N-HYPPADEC, Nura Tanko Wakili, said the commission had sent notifications and invitation letters to the Minister of Youth Development and governors of the six states that participated in the programme for their approval of dates.
 
The national flag-off would be conducted in Minna, Niger State on November 2, while beneficiaries from Plateau and Benue states would receive their packs in their state capitals on November 5 and 7.
   
According to the statement, the distribution will take place in Birnin Kebbi, the Kebbi State capital, on November 9, while those of Kogi and Kwara states are on November 26 and December 1.
   
Managing Director of the commission, Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa, applauded the beneficiaries for their patience and maturity.
