Corporate governance virtual confab holds October 15

The Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria has fixed its yearly Corporate Governance Conference for Thursday, October 15, 2020 as part of its commitment to the development of corporate governance in Nigeria.

The Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria has fixed its yearly Corporate Governance Conference for Thursday, October 15, 2020 as part of its commitment to the development of corporate governance in Nigeria.

President/Chairman of its board, Muhammad Ahmad, stated that the conference, which is scheduled to take place virtually, would be streamed live to viewers all over the globe.

He said: “This year’s conference is intended to foster discussions among key corporate governance experts, who will address the issues and challenges of corporate governance in Nigeria and suggest ways for the sustenance of principles of corporate governance in the wake of technology disruptions and digital transformations.”

Ahmad said during the conference, the Society would be unveiling some new publications, which includes “22nd Edition of the Journal of Corporate Governance” to be presented by Prof. Chris Ogbechie, among others.
