The council boss, in his speech, urged the new exco members to live up to expectations in their responsibilities noting that their appointment is a call to service. The supervisors include Kubirat Taiwo, Wasiu Oketoki, Buhari Bello, Saheed Abiodun, Nofisat Sobayo and Balikis Agbabiaka.

Meanwhile, the 8th legislative house of Oshodi/Isolo Local Government Area has proposed a byelaw that would enhance adequate security within the council in collaboration with the Community Development Council (CDC) and Community Development Association (CDAs) leaders.

Speaking at the public hearing, leader of the house, Rasheed Obasa, said the byelaw seeks to address the security challenges in the area. “If the proposed byelaw becomes a law, financing, employment of security personnel and prosecution of defaulters would be the responsibility of CDC in conjunction with the police.”
