Kebbi State COVID’19 Task Force committee chairman Hon. Ja’afaru Muhammad has said that out of the 18 confirmed index cases 3 were confirmed died of COVID’19 after tested positive by the Nigeria Disease control units.

Confirming the number of the deceased to the newsmen yesterday when paid a courtesy visit to the Kebbi State Deputy Governor who his the coordinator of the Task force committee in his office, adding that the state has recorded 18 Cases of the COVID’19 while lost three.

He explained further that the remaining people affected are under isolation, urge the people of the state to remain calm and continue to be using the face mask and other protection.

In his remarked, the Kebbi State Deputy Governor Col. Ismail Yombe Dabai (Rtd) commended the efforts of the committee for ensuring the safety of the masses, urge them to continue to adhere their advocacy to the rural areas in order for the people to know the anger of the outbreak.

He added by admonished the people of the state to maintain the social distancing and uses of face masks in order to curb the spread of the pandemic.
