He said: “On October 9, three suspects were arrested in connection with a transformer vandalism in Ikom Local Council. The situation kept the affected area in darkness.

“Another case before us is the alleged theft of two motorcycles by three suspects. The incident happened at the Federal Science College in Ogoja Local Council  area on October 9.”

The Commandant urged the public to assist security agencies in the fight against crime, by giving information whenever they suspect any illegal activities in their domain.

He also warned those involved in all forms of criminal activities to desist from the act, adding that the suspects will soon be charged to court.

He further stressed that the Commandant General of NSCDC, Dr. Ahmed Audi, has equipped men of the Command with the equipment to fight crime.
