Customs denies auctioning vehicles
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has warned the public not to fall for a video suggesting it is auctioning vehicles.
NCS on Friday refuted the video with scandalous narration announcing a purported auction of vehicles.
Customs issued a statement on Friday to alert the general public on the video while warning them not to fall for such scandal.

NCS said it is not auctioning vehicles at the moment and if otherwise, it would conduct an auction on its website.
“It is important to note that electronic auction of vehicles and other items is conducted only via auction.nigeriatradehub.gov.ng,” NCS said on X.
It also warned members of the public to beware of false information in order to prevent falling victim to scams.
NCS further advised Nigerians to always stay informed on happenings within the Service.

It urged the public to rely on its verified social media and other communication channels for genuine updates about its activities.
