Acting Comptroller-General of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) for automated data sharing of vehicle registration.
   
Adeniyi and Corps Marshal Dauda Ali Biu sealed the deal at FRSC Headquarters in Abuja. The NCS helmsman said the collaboration would foster unity between the two agencies and plug leakages. 
 
Other areas pointed out by the CGC, in his address, include resource optimisation, road safety, revenue generation and other essential aspects of vehicle documentation.
  
In his remarks, Biu commended the NCS boss for his dedication, assuring enhanced crusade against smuggling, revenue leakages, theft and other social crimes. To solidify their commitment, the Corps Marshal appointed Adeniyi as a Special Marshal.
