Deeper Life Bible Church YPF holds annual LEAD summit
The Young Professionals Forum (YPF) of the Deeper Life Bible Church (DLBC) is set to host its annual Leadership, Excellence, Ascent and Development (LEAD) summit tagged “The New Breed”.
Professor Ndubuisi Ekekwe, a highly successful entrepreneur, innovator, and Harvard Business Review writer will give the Keynote Address, alongside other distinguished speakers and renowned professionals across various fields.
These speakers will discuss topics on leadership, conflict resolution, change management, sustainable national development, mentorship, value creation, integrity, among others.
YPF spokesman Daniel Afolayan in a statement said, “this year’s summit aims at equipping young professionals with the knowledge and skills needed for 21st-century leadership in various professions and career pursuits, all geared towards self-development initiative and nation-building.
“The acronym LEAD is an annual leadership summit designed to evoke a new conversation on Leadership, Excellence, Ascent and Development (LEAD) for young professionals across all spheres of life.”
Speaking ahead of the summit slated for September 18 and 19, 2021 at 9am and 1pm respectively, at the DLBC auditorium in Gbagada, Lagos, the President of the YPF, Daniel Bamigbayan disclosed that this year’s conference targets a physical attendance of 10,000 young adults. He also gave the assurance that the attendees, in line with the mandate of the YPF will be developed, preserved and commissioned for impact across various professions and leadership strata.
The highpoint of the conference will be the graduation ceremony of successful participants in the 2021 Skill Acquisition Program (SAP) organized by YPF.
YPF held its maiden summit tagged “Gaining the Edge” in 2019 and has since sustained the initiative. This is in addition to the Skill Acquisition Programme (SAP) that has trained over 4,000 persons in the last 4 years.
The YPF is an initiative of the General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church; Dr. William Folorunsho Kumuyi, as a capacity-building initiative, which he alluded to as the panacea to resolving unemployment and youth’s restiveness in Nigeria.
