Degi-Eremienyo gives PDP chieftain ultimatum to retract certificate forgery claim
The deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the November 16, 2019 gubernatorial contest in Bayelsa State, Senator Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo, has given a seven-day ultimatum to a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Miebi Bribena, to retract a certificate forgery claim made against him.
Bribena had on Tuesday, February 25 during a live programme alleged that Degi-Eremienyo, in 1990, faced court litigation on grounds of falsification and forgery of certificate.
But a senior media aide to the senator, Mr. Ebinimi Omubo, regretted the “manner in which some politicians have become extremely desperate without an iota of moral in their accumulation of lies just to appease their pay masters.”
