The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rep. Benjamin Kalu, has congratulated the First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu on her 64th birthday anniversary.

In a statement on Friday by Miss Udora Orizu, Special Assistant to the Deputy Speaker on Press Matters, Kalu extolled Mrs. Tinubu’s virtues.

 

He described the wife of the President as a patriotic, passionate, and kind-hearted leader, who dedicated her life to service to God and humanity.

 

The lawmaker commended the first lady’s passion for youth and women empowerment, saying that she had demonstrated it through her numerous pet projects.

The deputy speaker lauded her steadfast support for her husband, President Bola Tinubu saying that she has stood as a strong pillar throughout their shared journey.

He said the First Lady had also played crucial roles in the growth and development of the nation.

 

Kalu urged the celebrator to continue to be a source of inspiration and a pillar of support to many.

 

“I heartily congratulate Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of our leader and President Bola Tinubu, on the occasion of her 64th birthday.

 

“Sen. Oluremi is a passionate and kind-hearted leader, who has dedicated her life to selfless service to our dear nation in different capacities, both in private and public service.

 

“I commend her relentless advocacy for the advancement and well-being of the girl child, as well as her unwavering commitment to promoting education for children, women, and the less privileged.

 

“The parliament is proud of her achievements during her time in the Senate, and I urge her to continue setting examples for women in leadership and governance”, he said.

 

Kalu prayed God to continue to guide her and grant her good health.
