The Governor of Bayelsa State, Douye Diri, has expressed optimism that 2025 will be a special year for the people of God and Nigeria.

Diri, who attended the Mgbidi 2025 crusade, themed: “What God has determined shall be done,” organised by the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries at the Chosen International Secondary School, Mgbidi, Imo State, demonstrated his humility at the altar where he laid flat in adoration to God who has given him victory from inception of his tenure as governor of the state to date.

Assuring the congregation that God’s people shall rejoice over their enemies this year, Diri, said: “What God has determined shall be done. I bring greetings from Bayelsa State to you all. This year you shall laugh at your enemies.”

Diri, who is also a regular face at every Lord’s Chosen programme, commended the General Overseer of the Church, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, for his visionary leadership and resilience in serving God.

Appreciating the governor and his entourage for coming, Muoka led the congregation to pray for the governor and his people, saying: “Father, from the inception of his tenure, you have proved to the whole world that he did not make a mistake in fellowshipping with The Lord’s Chosen.

“You have given him victory upon victory. All we are asking you righteous Father is for him to succeed more and more, that you prosper the government and people of Bayelsa. We ask for your divine guidance, and intervention in every matter.”
