Don describes present Nigeria as ‘evil generation’
A senior lecturer in the Department of Business Management, University of Jos, Prof. Peter Emeka Arinze has described the present generation as evil.
He said Christians and Muslims were not comfortable living together because of fear. He spoke to The Guardian in Jos yesterday.
Arinze, who was born in the North, recalled how he grew up with Muslims without any suspicion, especially at Christmas and Sallah celebrations.
According to him, “These days, the mutual fear, mistrust and suspicion between Muslims and Christians are very deep. This has led to the untimely deaths of many innocent citizens.”
He condemned the killings in the country and called for religious tolerance between the two major religions.
