Eden Hotel takes relief materials to Igboloye community

As part of its corporate social responsibility, the management of Eden Hotel & Resort has been donating some relief material to support people during this covid-19 lockdown period.

As part of its corporate social responsibility, the management of Eden Hotel & Resort has been donating some relief material to support people during this covid-19 lockdown period.

The team recently visited Igboloye community, Ota and was received by the Baale of the community, Chief Waliu Ogunbiyi and the chairman of the Community Development Association (CDA) Mr Olakunle Ajayi.

While presenting the palliatives, the General Manager of the hotel Mr. Ovie Peter and the Marketing Manager Adeyinka David urged residents to adhere to the directives of the government regarding the fight against COVID-19, especially social distancing. The GM informed that the hotel’s effort is to cushion the effect of the lockdown during this critical period.

Some of the items donated include bags of rice, bags if garri, cartons of noodles and others.

In acknowledgement, The Baale of Igboloye Community, High Chief Waliu Ogunbiyi expressed his appreciation on behalf of the community and sent his profound gratitude to board and management of the hotel under the leadership of Dr. Davidson Akhimien and Mrs. Gertrude Akhimien.

Ajayi, the CDA Chairman also thanked the management of the hotel for giving out relief materials, adding that it would go a long way to ease difficulties being experience by the poor as a result of the lockdown.
