Edo APC urged to embrace peace

The Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been urged to sheath their swords and embrace peace for the unity of all in the state.

A native traditionalist of Okpekpe Auchi Edo State, Mr Josi Egwekhide, has enjoined Edo residents to peacefully exercise their civic rights in the forthcoming election in the state which is scheduled to hold in April 2020.

“The election is one that can only be won when all members work harmoniously together, for the common good of the party,” he said.

He called on members to always remember that the party is supreme than any individual and appealed to all aggrieved members and fractions to embrace peace and foster unity amongst one another.

He also seized the medium to welcome defectors- Ize Iyamo and other prominent persons into the party, urging them to work for the victory of the party in the election.

He enjoined APC national chairman Comrade Adams Oshiomole, Governor of Edo State Godwin Obaseki, the speaker of the Edo State House of Representatives and all stakeholders to put aside their differences and work together as a team to achieve success in the forth-coming Edo Election.
