Edo NMA honours Apostle Johnson Suleman
The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Edo State branch, has inducted, President of Omega Fire Ministries International and Television Evangelist, Apostle Johnson Suleman into its Hall of Fame at her maiden award ceremony.
The Edo NMA hosted her maiden Hall of Fame award ceremony where it honoured about 35 exceptional medical professionals, amongst whom were a few personalities outside the medical profession in the NMA Hall of Fame.
The event took place at the NMA Doctors House Secretariat building with distinguished politicians, medical elders, and various esteemed guests in attendance.
Dr Adewole Afolabi – HOD, Family Medicine, UBTH (Keyboardist) & Dr Omoruyi Aibieyi – SR/Chief Resident, Dept. Of Chemical Pathology, UBTH (Drummer) demonstrated their prowess by skillfully playing the keyboard and drums, captivating the audience and adding a unique touch to the event.
The highlight of the evening was the unveiling and Commissioning of the Edo NMA Wall of Fame, by the wife of Edo State Deputy Governor, Mrs Mariam Shaibu.
The chairman of the Edo NMA, Dr. Udoka Imoisili, said Suleman bagged the award and was honour by the doctors for his support to humanity.
In an interview, Edo NMA Chairman who appreciated Suleman for his financial assistance to widows and orphans including provision of scholarship to indigent students in the state, commended the clergyman for his numerous contributions to humanity.
