
The inter-religious harmony meeting was held at the State House, Kaduna.While urging the people to join hands with him, he said no amount of blackmail would stop his government from curtailing the crisis.
The governor said that he would continue to fight those behind the evil forces and the disruption of peace in the state.According to him, the meeting is held quarterly for the people to express their views and give suggestions to strengthen the peace, security and development of the state.
“Evil is evil and it could be committed by anybody whether he is a Muslim or Christian, Hausa or Bajju, Fulani or Atyab.Meanwhile, the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU) has condemned government’s continuous closure of the Kafanchan campus of the Kaduna State University (KASU).
A statement by SOKAPU’s National Public Relations Officer, Mr. Yakubu Kuzamani said the school was shut down in December 2016 and had remained closed despite that peace had been restored in the area.They lamented that the students had been rendered redundant while their colleagues in the main campus were having their lectures.
