FORMER Director General of the National Sports Commission, Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye, will be installed as the Otunba of Ikareland today by His Royal Highness, Oba Akadiri Momoh, the Olukare of Ikareland and the Olukare in Council.

The former legislator, who led Nigerian sports to many successes, during his tenure as the DG of the National Sports Commission was singled out for this honour in recognition of his selfless service to the nation by Ondo State and Ikareland.

The installation ceremony takes place in Ikare, Ondo State by 11am at the Olukare’s Palace, Ikare Akoko, Ondo State.Reception follows at the Victory College, Ikare.
