Emuoboh Gbagi, Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor on Youth Development, has received the Most Distinguished Youngest Office Holder of the Year 2019 award from the Udu Icon/Role Model Awards.

Comrade Samuel Ejiro Uwhejevwe-Togbolo, Coordinator of the Udu Icon/Role Model Awards, said the recognition was due to his exceptional leadership.

Specifically, the non-governmental organisation applauded Gbagi for his commitment to positively impacting humanity with his appointment.

His words: “As an appointee of the Delta State Government, Emuoboh Gbagi’s leadership and contributions have made him a shining example for the youth and a stellar representative of the state.

“His achievements demonstrate the qualities of a role model, showcasing the potential for young individuals to make a meaningful difference in their communities.

“As an ambassador for Delta State, his accomplishments reflect the state’s values and potential. His influence has contributed to the state’s reputation as a hub for economic growth and development, with Delta State boasting the third-largest economy among Nigeria’s states”.

Responding to the prestigious award, Gbagi dedicated it to his principal, Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, expressing profound gratitude for the opportunity to serve the state.

While acknowledging the Governor’s leadership and mentorship, he also thanked the Udu Icon/Role Model Awards for recognizing his modest contributions.

He reaffirmed his commitment to continuing to serve the state with dedication and excellence.

He said: “I am honoured to receive this prestigious award, and I dedicate it to my principal, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, who has given me the platform to serve our great state. His leadership and vision have inspired me to strive for excellence, and I am grateful for the trust he has placed in me.

“This award is not just a recognition of my efforts but also a testament to Governor Okowa’s commitment to youth development and empowerment.
