Flashpoints areas such as Ganaja junction, government house road,
Paparanda, the Obasanjo Square and Nataco were barricaded by security agencies comprising the Nigeria Police force, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC), local Vigilantes, Federal Road Safety Corps, (FRSC)

It was observed that most of the shops in Lokoja were under lock and key over fear of being attacked by protesters in the State, given their experiences during the EndSars protest.

As at the time of filling this report, Motorists, Commercial motorcyclists and tricycle riders were going about with their daily activities.

Youths and other stakeholders have earlier dissociated themselves from the planned nationwide strike.

The Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo had earlier said that there would be no protest in Kogi State because of his inclusive governance by meeting the aspirations of the youths, women, and other residents in the state.
