A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Simon Ortuanya, described the electoral victory of Adeleke as “a big vote of confidence, by the people of Osun, in your capacity and competence to turn fortunes around in the state.”
The statement disclosed that Adeleke is “not only from Osun but also from Enugu, where you were born.”
Pointing out that the government and people of Enugu are happy and proud of the victory of their son, Adeleke, the SSG stated that the victory “is an affirmation of the power of perseverance, abiding faith in God and a referendum on your long-standing investment in human capital development.”
