Ex-minister canvasses shared opportunities for economic development
Former Minister of Youth and Sports, Bolaji Abdullahi, has said that the economic life of the country may continue to degenerate if opportunities are not shared among citizens.
Speaking during his 50th birthday bash at his Ilorin residence, he said a lot of successful people in the country had denied others the opportunity to succeed.
Disclosing that he would soon launch an N50 million endowment fund youths in the state of education and basic healthcare, he advised citizens to promote brotherly love that encourages shared opportunities.
According to him, failure of Nigerians to be their brother’s keeper and share opportunities as it used to be in the past is a major challenge to the country’s quest to step out of penury.
