Fire Service Recruitment: At last, FG releases list of successful candidates

Almost one year after its recruitment into the Federal Fire Service (FFS) began, the Federal Government has finally released the list of successful candidates for the paramilitary agency.

Recall that the portal for recruitment into the FFS was opened on 28th December 2023, and since then, applicants have been in suspense, awaiting the list until now.

Announcing the release of the list via a statement, Secretary of the Board of Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services, Ja’afaru Ahmed, advised candidates to check the Board’s portal, cdcfib.career, for their names. If successful, they should proceed for documentation at the Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau Conference Center, located at the headquarters of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).

Although no explanation was given for the long delay and silence over the recruitment,

Ahmed said, “Starting from Monday, December 9, 2024, successful candidates are instructed to print their invitation letters for the final documentation exercise.

“Applicants are required to wear white tops and shorts and must bring both the originals and photocopies of their credentials.

“They are also advised to attend on the specified date indicated in their invitation letters and adhere strictly to the instructions provided.”
