Fire service salvages property worth over N1trn in 9 Months
Urges Parents To Educate Children On Fire Prevention
The Assistant Comptroller General (ACG), Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Fire Service, Julius Opetunsin has revealed that property worth over N1trn had been saved in the last nine months.
Speaking while inaugurating the FCT enlightenment campaign for secondary school students on fire disaster prevention, management and control, Opetunsin said the agency was able to salvage the property because of its management skills, trainings and knowledge acquired over the years.
“In line with the FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello’s mandate of securing the lives and property of residents, the FCT Fire Service embarked on aggressive fire safety sensitisation to raise the consciousness of the residents on fire related hazards.
