A health, Safety and Environment (HSE) company, Hybrid Group, has successfully trained 15 people under the Dapo Omolade Empowerment (DOME) initiative, equipping them with essential skills to enhance their economic and career prospects.

The founder of the group, Dapo Omolade, revealed that the initiative was introduced to build a healthy and safe environment and a sustainable career for Nigerian youths while making workplaces and the society at large safe for living. He said that this is ultimately to enhance the economic development and growth of Nigeria.

He said: “DOME Initiative was set out to provide sustainable structures for the society through building relevant competencies in health, safety and environment, as well as sustainability that will empower Nigerian youths through human capacity and career development.”

Omolade emphasised that the 15 successful graduates were selected from nine states across Nigeria through a rigorous process that saw hundreds of applications from all over the country.

“From what we have put together and delivered to these great Nigerians, we are confident that they are more than ready for the workplace now,” Omolade said.
He also revealed that majority of the graduates have been gainfully employed as safety professionals, after completing their programme in October.

“Let me also say that those who participated in the TSD 1.0 to 3.0 are all engaged today in workplaces in Nigeria and outside, making great impacts,” he added.

Also speaking, the Director General/ Chief Executive Officer of Lagos State Safety Commission, Lanre Majola, commended the unwavering dedication of the initiative, as well as the Hybrid Group.
