
As part of efforts to solve energy poverty currently being faced by some segments of the country, a rising firm in sustainable power solutions, Grid Crux, unveiled its innovative energy management solution, GC Watt, to revolutionise energy monitoring and management in homes and businesses.
At the event held at Maison Fahrenheit, Victoria Island, Lagos, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Grid Crux, Mojola Ola, said that Grid Crux is committed to making a significant impact when it comes to providing solutions across the energy spectrum.

In his remarks, Vice President Tech and Strategy, Grid Crux, Adedamola Olusakin, explained that Nigeria’s challenging journey to electrification has made consumers adopt alternative power.

Approximately 40% of the Nigerian population has no access to electricity and those who do find it unreliable and unpredictable.
“ Following the market launch of our version 1.0, upcoming features include advanced analytics, multi-source management, and load sensing for consumption analysis. Additionally, we plan to introduce EV charging monitoring and management capabilities.

The Operations Director, Grid Crux, Bunmi Gbelee, said that the company recently embarked on supplying and installing solar inverter battery systems to orphanages, covering their essential needs, adding that it planned to empower ten orphanages by the close of 2023 through partnerships.
