Eko Idumota Market Limited has pledged to improve wholesale procurement and freight logistics by connecting manufacturers, businesses and consumers through a digital marketplace.
The pledge was made at the launched of a Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) e-commerce platform aimed to address persistent challenges in Nigeria’s supply chain, including fragmented distribution networks, pricing inconsistencies and logistics bottlenecks, while providing a single platform for wholesale and retail transactions.
Founder of Eko Idumota Market Limited, Adetogun Samuel Adegunju, said the initiative was designed to simplify procurement and improve access to goods through technology-driven logistics.
“Traditional commerce has always possessed incredible energy and scale, but it has historically suffered from fragmented logistics and layer upon layer of middleman costs. We founded this company to build a transparent digital highway. By integrating smart sourcing directly with an end-to-end fulfillment framework, we are empowering businesses to scale seamlessly and giving consumers unprecedented access to direct-from-source wholesale value,” he said.
According to him, the platform offers access to verified suppliers, bulk purchasing options and inventory management, while its logistics network is designed to support warehousing, cargo movement and last-mile delivery.
Adegunju noted that improving supply chain efficiency remains essential for businesses seeking to reduce operational costs and ensure timely delivery of goods.
He added that the platform would support both corporate buyers and individual consumers by providing a digital channel for sourcing products and coordinating deliveries across different locations
