Professional engineering services provider, CIS Nigeria has said that it would leverage Microsoft Azure for service efficiency and to help proffer short and long-term solutions needed by businesses.

According to it, the partnership would enhance its operations with the best billing that Microsoft Azure provides. Azure offers a wide range of services such as software as a service (SaaS), platform as a service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a service (IaaS).

Sales Manager, CIS Nigeria, Moussa Tawil, who spoke at an event organised in partnership with Microsoft in Lagos, informed that that Microsoft Azure is a platform of interoperable cloud computing services. The theme of the event was, “Where Do You Want to Go Today?”

Tawil, who said Azure could be utilised at any scale, added that 90 per cent of the fortune 500 companies were moving to it being a trusted platform. In addition to traditional cloud offering such as virtual machines, object storage and content delivery networks (CDNs), Azure offers services that leverage proprietary Microsoft technologies.

The CIS chief explained that Azure monitoring maximises the availability and performance of applications and services by delivering a comprehensive solution for collecting, analysing, and acting on telemetry from cloud and on-premises environments, just as it helps users to understand how their applications are performing and proactively identifies issues affecting them and the resources they depend on.
