Firms to provide free access to lecturers, students virtual learning
A telecommunications firm, 9mobile, has partnered with an education technology platform, MyClassConnect, to provide lecturers and tertiary students with free access to efficient virtual and in-person teaching and learning without incurring mobile data costs.
Executive Director, Regulatory and Corporate Affairs, 9mobile, Abdulrahman Adom, said the partnership was another avenue the firm was exploring to provide innovative options for the academic community to continue teaching and learning while keeping safe during and after the pandemic.
In his remarks, founder and Chief Executive Officer of MyClassConnect, Okwuchukwu Obi, said the platform would enable efficient handling of academic activities both online and in-person including planning and delivering lectures and evaluating assessments with improved techniques.
