First Consultants Medical Centre Obalende, Lagos, has collaborated with BLK Hospital India, to ensure quality healthcare delivery in Nigeria.

Officials of the hospital stated that the partnership was to expand its scope of clinical services in the management of oncology and nephrology cases.

The officials, who disclosed this at a press conference, held at Stella Adadevoh Development Centre, Lagos, also said with clinical experts from BLK hospital, the medical centre would build capacity towards a full-fledged management of such cases, which cause some Nigerians to travel abroad in search of medical care.

Dr. Akinwande Fadipe, Consultant obstetrician with First Consultants Medical Centre, said the hospital would commence its maiden services on August 22 and 23, when medical experts from India will be on ground to provide operational services on cancer and kidney-related diseases.
