The Emma Njoku Foundation (ENF), a leading non-profit organization dedicated to health, education, and humanitarian interventions, has celebrated its chairman Emma Njoku’s birthday by donating books and medical equipment to tertiary institutions and healthcare facilities across Imo State.
While presenting the items, the foundation Programme Manager, Maxwell Ezelagu, expressed the Foundation’s commitment to addressing gaps in education and healthcare, emphasizing the potential impact of the donations on the people of Imo State.
The foundation donated 370 cartons of assorted books to the following educational institutions: Imo State University, Owerri, Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri, Federal University of Technology
Others include Owerri, Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, Federal University of Agriculture, Umuagwo and Imo State Polytechnic, Omuma
The foundation distributed critical medical and surgical equipment to the following health institutions: Imo State University Teaching Hospital, Orlu, Imo State Specialists Hospital, Umuguma, Owerri and Federal Medical Center, Owerri
The donated items were officially received by Dr. Prosper Success Onyeagha, Commissioner for Health, and Prof. Victor Nwachukwu, Commissioner for Tertiary Education, on behalf of the beneficiary institutions.
The Commissioners commended the foundation’s efforts, describing the gesture as timely and instrumental in enhancing academic resources and healthcare services in the state.
