Foundation donates medical equipment to Lagos hospitals
The Heal the World Foundation and Apostle Tola Olukilede Foundation recently donated some hospital equipment and supplies to the Gbagada General Hospital and Orile Agege General Hospital.
In addition to the donation, the foundation also undertook a comprehensive renovation of the entire second floor of Gbagada General Hospital, including the Psychiatry Clinic.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gbagada General Hospital, Dr. Olusegun Joseph, expressed profound gratitude to the donors, saying the Psychiatry Clinic’s refurbishment represented 50% of the healing process in mental healthcare.
“They didn’t just renovate a space; they revitalized the Psychiatry Clinic, the ENT Clinic, and even the Seminar Room, which also serves as a counseling space for patient relatives,” he said.
The special guest at the event, Managing Director, Toyota Nigeria Limited, Kunle Ade-Ojo, in his remarks, lauded the philanthropic achievements of Apostle Tola Olukilede, saying his foundation has brought succor to several homes.
At Orile Agege General Hospital, a brand new Children’s Ward was renovated with comfortable beddings and mattresses.
