To improve the quality of cancer and palliative care, Macmillan Cancer Support, UK and Bricon Foundation have partnered to hold a workshop on cancer for health professionals in Nigeria.

With the theme, ‘Cancer and Palliative Care’, the workshop, sponsored by Total-EPNL, will hold tomorrow, November 6, at the Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.

Macmillan is one of the leading cancer charities in the United Kingdom, with a well-respected education programme. Its alumni have been working with the Bricon Foundation to develop a course that meets the needs of healthcare workers involved in cancer in Nigeria.

Bricon Foundation, founded by Dr. Niyi Adekeye and Abigail Simon-Hart, is a non-profit organization, established to provide support for patients and families battling cancer and raise funds for treatment of indigent patients.
