GEM Publications, publishers of GemWoman and GemMan lifestyle magazines, committed to meeting the peculiar needs of men and women by providing them with enriching and practical insights into the diverse spheres of life, is organizing its 2015 edition of Two Become One, an exclusive intimate couples’ dinner in Lagos tomorrow.

“Two-Become-One was launched as a passionate response to the dire and diverse needs of marriages in our society.

We are committed to saving as many marriages as we can by providing a platform for couples to learn and communicate, even as they get empowered to make their marriages better.

It also affords couples an opportunity to unwind, connect with each other and network with like-minded couples,” says Mrs Bola Olawale, CEO/Publisher of GemWoman and GemMan magazines, at a recent media briefing at the Protea Select Hotel, Ikeja, to announce the upcoming event.

According to her: “It is disheartening to witness the ongoing downslide in marriages. Marriages crumble on many grounds such as infidelity, insensitivity, ignorance, poor finances and so on. Many marriages might have been saved, if they only had the right counsel, mentorship or guidance.”

Themed “Love of a Lifetime,” the event will hold at the Anchors Event Place, Agidingbi Road, Ikeja by 4:00pm.

Part of the proceeds of the event, which costs N20, 000 per couple, will be set aside as funds for the publication’s CSR Feed-A-Child-A-Day project, an initiative aimed at alleviating hunger among less privileged children in the state.

Sponsors include MTN, FCMB, Lily Water, Three Crowns, Radio One and Protea select.
