Germany, China, others to attend Lagos agrofood expo

Germany will lead 14 other countries to Lagos for an exhibition that will showcase products and solutions for the Nigerian market.

The exhibition, billed to be held from March 25 to 27, is the 10th edition of the expo, where Germany, China, Poland, the Netherlands and South Africa will have their pavilions.

The exhibition, according to a statement made available to The Guardian by the organisers, Fairtrade Messe, builds on the success of agrofood and plastprintpack Nigeria 2024.

The organisers announced that the Federal Government and Lagos State will be key participants.

Germany has been made the guest of honour for this year’s edition to highlight German expertise in the sectors in focus and to provide opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange and business development between German and Nigerian stakeholders.

According to the organisers, there will be a three-day conference of over 20 sessions and more than 70 speakers in a 180-seat hall, with special topic on banking and finance. It added that there would be keynote speakers and panel discussions.
